Zycon Models - an Irving TX based company, in conjunction with Garland TX based AP Enterprises, recently completed a major project for Cummins Inc. Jointly we produced two different scale model replicas of a new Cummins engine, the QSK95. The QSK95 made its North American debut at MINExpo Convention in Las Vegas NV. The QSK95 is the latest power technology from Cummins Inc. The impressive 4,200hp engine meets the new Tier 4 Final emission standards. The QSK95 will be utilized in mining, railroad, power generation, marine and off shore drilling applications.
Zycon Models utilized AP Enterprises for management of the China factory where the replicas were made. The promotional models were an intregal part of the Cummins marketing plan to celebrate the launch of the QSK95 engine to the industry. The first group of models were delivered in September for the show and the final batch of models shipped this month. Zycon Models and AP Enterprises were proud to be a part of this project.
Important note: These engine models are not for sale to the public! This was a special commissioned project by the Cummins Engine company for internal promotional use only.
